In case you didn’t already know, this is me.
2004
It appears you have stumbled across my website..or maybe I have given you the link (in which case, you should feel incredibly honored that I have taken the time to acknowledge your existence. Anywho, this page was originally started for my Intro to the Internet class (I think I had to do it for Intro to Comp. & Tech. class too..). I forewarn you though, I am NOT a Computer Science major (as of yet..) and this site will most likely NOT be comparable to any of the cooler sites you have seen before it’s time. I do not apologize for this because I feel that this is MY learning experience and you all should just suck it up and deal with it. (Not to sound too harsh)
2005
WooHoo!!! My site is back up and going for a while at least.. Jeremy has appeared to have gotten a new server and is showing me how to use Dreamweaver to update my site to keep people posted on my daily happenings. Be that as it may, I hope to have this updated more frequently and show off all of my talents! Same rules apply though.. if you don’t like it, shut up and deal with it. I don’t want to hear your bitches about my site sucking or anything, because it is MY site.. and you don’t have to view it anyway.

So I’m working full time with Burger King Corp for now and am enjoying my work. In training at this point, to become a Restaurant General Manager.. seems to be a good company and everything is going well. Still living in Palm Harbor and happy with that! I’m working on going back to school to finish up and hope to be finished soon.. Seems to be taking forever! Nip/Tuck is still my favorite show, ever.. and King of the Hill, of course! Redneck comedy can be the best at times..
2007
Tons has changed with me! Ok, so a lot of my changes were mentioned in my journal entires section, I still find it important to mention a few key areas in here. I have changed over to a Business Management major and I now¬†go to¬†Saint Petersburg College, live in Palm Harbor.. and work as a manager for a national restaurant chain. Still with Jeremy (my Sys admin) who is desperately trying to get me to spend more time on my site and do a minor in computer graphics. I probably will do a short class this term on graphics and see where it goes. And so, half way through 2007 and I am finally finding time to explore things that I want to do rather than things that I should be doing. Let’s see where this goes!
2008
Well, I was promoted to RGM at work and actually enjoyed taking over my first restaurant. It was an enlightening experience and I hope to continue to make a great contribution to the company. This year, I have spent my time working on the restaurant. I went through many personal trials and made a few poor decisions.. Jerry died on Oct 8, and I’ve been having a hard time with it. Funny, how Jerry and I couldn’t get along at all until the end.. when Jeremy and I went to ORMC for a week in September.. I really just couldn’t believe how different he was. Jerry and I had been talking on the phone a lot at this point, he had joined the LDS church and seemed to be doing well.. I’m glad we went though, I believe that we really helped prolong his life. Life hasn’t been the same since he’s been gone.. even just to argue with. I will say that his funeral was surreal.. all through it I just thought he was going to get up and just walk right off.. at one point, I swear I saw him smiling. I believe he made peace with himself at some time.. and I am so glad for that, never have I been happier for someone.¬† Towards the end of the year, I also got braces.. went to Atlanta for a RGM convention, had a wonderful holiday with my new husband (we got married on Dec 17) and I’ve enjoyed being a wife. What a year!!!!
2009
What a year! 2009 flew by very quickly and before I knew it, 2010 was here! A lot of this year was spent searching for a diagnosis for why my joints and muscles were hurting so badly. This did not come until the middle of the year when I met an outstanding doctor who took the time to really evaluate my entire history, as well as look into my current complaints. It was not easy to find a physician who believed that I was truly in pain and that the pain was real, but I am so glad that I kept searching. She is an amazing doctor and has really helped me work on coming to terms with this illness and not letting it take over my life.
My husband decided to go back to school this year; which was awesome! I am so proud of him for taking this huge step and truly realizing what a great man he can be. He also completed several Microsoft Certifications this year, again big kudos to him for that accomplishment!
Also, during this year my blog underwent some drastic changes! We added an additional link (www.tabithaparker.com) and completely overhauled the site design. Overall, the new layout looks amazing and I really feel that it fits more with where I am in life
What a year it has been. I spent a good portion of this year home, thanks to my health, but have been able to take the time to learn more about myself in ways that I never thought I could have.
This year also introduced me to my latest passion: couponing. Yes, I realize that a lot of people think that it is insane to coupon, but to those people I would have to say, don’t knock it til you try it! Honestly, I find it to be so much fun and a real rush when I get to checkout and have a large order, seeing how low I can get my total to go. Although at this point, I haven’t become a true Coupon Master, I can say that I definitely have the hang of it and am thoroughly enjoying my time!
At home, things have been fairly comfortable, my husband started a new job, where is he incredibly happy. I realize that sounds a bit contradicting, but I swear, he really is happy to get up and go to work every day. Sometimes I wonder if he has been replaced by some sort of alien, he’s that happy.
My fur-babies are still here and happy, always lounging around, completely exposed. Clearly, they live such difficult lives.. must be nice.

Where will this year bring me?
